About

christy"Cloth diapers? You're crazy! You won't last 2 weeks."

This is what I heard over and over when I told people we were using cloth diapers on our baby, Amelia. Well, it's been 6 months and I love cloth so much that I joined everythingbirth.com as a Diaper Parties Consultant to promote and sell cloth diapers!

There are many reasons I use cloth. Here are a few perks that make the choice easy:

  1. Good for Baby-Babies wear diapers 24/7 for the first 3 years (or so). Keep soft cloth next to your baby's bottom instead of harsh chemicals and plastics. Also, Amelia has NEVER had diaper rash even though her skin is extremely sensitive.
  2. Good for your Wallet-Disposable diapers, wipes, trash bags, and creams can cost over $2,500 per baby! Cloth can cost as little as $300 from birth to potty training! Plus, cloth diapers have great resale value-you can't sell used disposables!
  3. Good for the Environment-Each baby in disposables produces over 2 tons of landfill waste, stop harmful chemicals from seeping into the ground, and put poop where it belongs: in the toilet.

My husband, Rob, who swore he would never use cloth diapers a year ago now fully supports our mission to get every baby we know into cloth. He will be the first to admit that it's super easy-and no, you don't have to touch the poop. Our baby girl, Amelia, was born in November 2010 and hasn't been in a disposable since December. We've used many different kinds of cloth diapers on her and I would love to talk to you about my experience. You can read more about our family on our blog, The Reed Read: robnchristy.blogspot.com

Let me bring the store to you and help you decide which diapers are right for your family!
