Hi, my name is Jasmine, I’m 24 and I am a new first time mom! I absolutely love being a mom and to me there is no greater gift. My daughter was born in June 2010 and in the beginning I used disposables because I was not informed of the “new” cloth diapering. My grandmother kept telling me to get cloth diapers and what not and I already had “No!” in my head thinking of pins and plastic covers. Never gave cloth diapering another thought. Then a friend of mine with a son a few months older than my daughter was telling me about she cloth diapers and I was just shocked that any one now-a-days would that, yet along a YOUNG mom. But after our conversation I decided to do some research on cloth diapering and I was amazed. Amazed by a lot! I was amazed by the options, amazed by the cuteness, and also amazed with what I learned about disposable diapers! I was not aware how much money I would be spending overtime with using disposable diapers and what they do to the environment. I was never a “green” person, but after I gave birth to my daughter Erin I decided to more eco-friendly. And after my research on cloth diapering I decided to give it a try.

So after a trial of cloth diapers, I decided to buy a few and really see how I like it. Turns out I love it! I love the fact the Erin no longer had diaper rashes after we made the switch. I love the fact that I no longer have to buy a pack of disposables every month. I love how cute cloth diapers are! Way cuter than disposables! I’ve been cloth diapering full time for maybe 3 months now and I do not regret a thing about my choice to switch! When I found out about Everything Birth and their Diaper Parties, I knew that that’s something I wanted to get involved in! To be able to share my passion in cloth diapering with other moms and moms-to-be sounded like the perfect opportunity for me!
