About
I am a stay at home mom in Southeastern Wisconsin who is blessed to have three wonderful children. I was interested in cloth diapering with my first child, but was filled with ideas of what cloth used to be. Finally, when my youngest was born, I started researching, and found out how much it has changed and how easy it has become.
While I was sure I wanted to switch to cloth diapers, I still did not have a place to go. There are no department stores where a mom can walk in and physically see different styles, talk with someone experienced in using the product, to find out what would work for their situation. So, I found some websites, and did weeks worth of research before finally buying some and learning for myself. I bought them based on online reviews, and my pre-conceived notion of what might work. Some worked for us, some did not.
As I got more and more into cloth diapering, I became more and more passionate about it and gained a great understanding all of the products and what works best for our family. I have several friends that laughed at me when they saw that I was using cloth. I explained how good it is for the environment, how much money I will save and showed them how cute the kids look in the diapers. Now they too are using cloth and I help them when they have questions.
I am looking forward to sharing my experience with others and showing them how to make cloth fun and easy. My husband is even exited about them and picks out his favorite patterns when it is his turn to change. We call those the “Daddy Diapers”.
