About
I am a mother of four beautiful children. I happily say that I have cloth diapered all four of them. There had been times where disposables were used - but not for that long, so I can honestly tell you about things on "both sides of the equation."
However, after my fourth child was born - Pampers had just released "DryMax" in their disposable diapers. My youngest baby was put directly into a Pampers diaper in the hospital and suffered severe chemical burns as a result. We then dove directly back into cloth diapering.
I read an article about Diaper Parties in the May 2010 issue of Parenting Magazine. I was intrigued. I thought "wouldn't it be nice to have a diaper party?" and then, after a little research, found that there wasn't a representative of the company in my area.
At that point, I decided to become a representative. I knew there were more people like me, who wanted to find out more about cloth - either because they had a want to use it, or if they had a genuine need to have it. I also knew that if I couldn't find a place that carried cloth, readily to see/feel/touch, then others were in the same predicament.
I knew that Diaper Parties was for me. With Diaper Parties, I can take a good mix of different types of cloth diapers around to people's homes or chosen venues. At that point, they can take the opportunity to look them over, feel them, diaper a baby doll and then make their informed decision on which diapers they want to purchase. It is much nicer than the "olden days" of having to take a guess online before purchasing - and then, not knowing if you'd liked the decision you made when they finally arrive via mail.
Please take the time to look around this site at some pictures of what we offer. I do "in home" parties and demonstrations. Diaper Parties are also a GREAT IDEA for baby showers!
