My husband and I have two rambunctious, lovable little girls – the first a January 2007 model and the second a July 2009 model. I have been cloth diapering about 80% of the time, although now that I’m a consultant, I’m working my way towards 100%. I feel that it doesn’t have to be an all or nothing deal, but every time you reach for cloth instead of disposable, our planet thanks you. Just because your baby is small doesn’t mean it has a small footprint.

I have always been environmentally minded and figured if my sister could cloth diaper all 5 of her children, I could do the same with just two. However, when I started looking at which diapers to choose, I was quite overwhelmed. I spent hours on the internet trying to figure out what would best suit my needs and my budget. I would have loved to host a diaper party and have a consultant available to answer my questions and see the products in person instead of just on the computer.

I was excited when I saw the Diaper Parties ad in Mothering magazine and inquired about becoming a consultant right away. I believe that many more parents would chose cloth at least part time if they knew more about it so I am ready to spread the word.  

All I am saying is give cloth a chance!
